CONTROL UNIT:
Engine ECU
DETECTION CONDITIONS:
The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers that the voltage is above 4.75 V.
SYMPTOM:
1. Engine has low power.
2. Low power because of engine protection.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Signal line short-circuited to higher voltage.
2. Open circuit on frame ground cable.
