Volvo Engine D12D AE E3 (Tier 3) Fault Code: PSID201 FMI 9 Data Link
DETECTION CONDITIONS:
The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers that bus communication is missing with V-ECU on CAN/J1939.
SYMPTOM:
1. Delayed reactions from and to engine.
2. Engine brake not functioning.
3. Preheating not functioning.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Open circuit on bus communication (cable harness).
2. Short-circuit to voltage on control link (SAE J1939).
3. Short-circuit to frame ground on control link (SAE J1939).
4. Leads in control link (SAE J1939) short-circuited to each other.
