DETECTION CONDITIONS:
The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers intermittent signal loss or signal error.
SYMPTOM:
1. Engine runs rough/ varying engine speed.
2. Misfiring.
3. Engine is difficult to start, only after a long time of cranking.
4. Fuel consumption higher than normal.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Electric interference on speed signal.
2. Loose connection.
3. Poor insulation or defective cable.
4. Incorrectly installed sensor.
5. Defective sensor.
6. Damaged gear teeth on flywheel.
