1. Coolant Temperature Higher Than 104?C (219?F)
2. Coolant Temperature Higher Than 107?C (225?F)
COOLANT TEMPERATURE HIGHER THAN 104?C (219?F)
CONTROL UNIT:
Engine ECU
DETECTION CONDITIONS:
The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers coolant temperature higher than 104?C (219?F).
SYMPTOM:
None
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Clogged radiator.
2. Low fan speed.
COOLANT TEMPERATURE HIGHER THAN 107?C (225?F)
CONTROL UNIT:
Engine ECU
DETECTION CONDITIONS:
The engine control unit (E-ECU) registers coolant temperature higher than 107?C (225?F).
SYMPTOM:
Vehicle speed is limited by engine protection to 8 km/h (5 mph).
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Clogged radiator.
2. Low fan speed.
