Detroit DD16 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 711 FMI 3 (CPC) Short to Power /Open Circuit

NOTE: The common powertrain controller (CPC) digital outputs have the same SPN as some motor control module (MCM) faults.

NOTE: Diesel particulate filter (DPF) regen lamp – indicates a short to power/open circuit on pin 5 of the CPC #1 connector.

NOTE: Pin 5 of the CPC #1 connector has a wiring problem.
