Quantity control valve (low side) error.

Quantity control valve (QCV).

Always enabled

None
EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.
TYPICAL DURATION:
2 seconds
DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL
ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%
VERIFICATION:
Engine Idle: One minute.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Motor Control Module (MCM) pin 2 circuit is shorted to power.
2. Internal short of the quantity control valve.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. ECM pin 2 shorted to ground.
2. Quantity control valve failure.
3. Quantity control valve harness/connector.
