Detroit DD13 EPA07 (2007-09) Fault Code: SPN 411 FMI 4 (MCM) EGR Delta Pressure Sensor Circuit Failed Low
DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when there is an open in the voltage supply circuit, an open or short to ground on the signal return circuit.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
EGR delta pressure sensor return signal.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Always enabled
MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None
EXECUTION FREQUENCY:
Always enabled
TYPICAL DURATION:
2 seconds
DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL
ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%
VERIFICATION:
Engine Idle: One minute.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. EGR delta p sensor failure.
2. EGR delta p connector/harness.
3. EGR delta p pressure ports blocked.
4. EGR valve failure.
5. Inspect the EGR crossover tube and mixer pipe for excessive buildup. If excessive, replaced the EGR cooler.
6. Inspect EGR system for leaks/damage/issues.
