Cummins ISX15 CM2250 (2010-12) Fault Code: 3712 PID: 105 SPN: 5246 FMI: 0 Aftertreatment SCR Operator Inducement- Data Valid But Above Normal Operational Range- Most Severe Level

Circuit Description
The ECM continuously monitors the engine’s fault code status to determine if any critical SCR related fault codes are active.

Component Location
The ECM mounting location varies, depending on the engine model.

Conditions for Running the Diagnostics
This diagnostic runs continuously when the engine is running.

Conditions for Setting the Fault Codes
The ECM detects that the engine has been operated for an extended amount of time with critical SCR faults active, and no repair action has been taken. This amount of time will vary, depending on which SCR faults are active.

Action Taken When the Fault Code is Active
The ECM illuminates the red STOP ENGINE lamp immediately when the diagnostic runs and fails.
Immediate engine power derate.
Vehicle speed will be limited to 8 km [5 miles] per hour.
Conditions for Clearing the Fault Code
This fault code will go inactive once all other active SCR related fault codes have been addressed. Refer to the appropriate fault code troubleshooting tree.
The ECM will turn off the red STOP ENGINE lamp after the diagnostic runs and passes.
